Round Formats

ALL GROUPINGS
2 v 2

  • Four Ball (a.k.a. best ball)

    • both players tee off on every hole and complete the hole using their own golf shots and their own ball. The best net score, among partners, is recorded for the team against the best net score of the opposing team.

      • Consider adding a scramble to further the competition.

  • Foursomes (a.k.a. alternate shot)

    • players rotate teeing off - one does even-numbered holes while the other does odd-numbered holes - and alternate taking shots (using the same ball) until the hole is complete. Score per hole competes against opposing team’s score.

      • Consider a shamble to include everyone at the tee box.

  • Singles

    • player plays their own ball for all shots for all holes against player from opposing team. Net score competes versus net score of opposing player.
